Hospice is a
philosophy of care focused on improving the quality of life
for people with an advanced disease. Hospice becomes a
choice when patients, together with their families and
doctors determine future efforts to cure the illness are no
longer feasible or desirable. Hospice’s focus is centered on
quality of life where the goal becomes living life more
fully, more completely and more in control.
Compassionate hospice care is provided by a specialized team
of caregivers who support patient and family goals by
addressing the medical, spiritual and emotional needs of the
patient and equally important, the family.
American
Home Hospice works to manage pain and symptoms so patients
can embrace life and live as fully and as comfortable as
possible.
Mission Statement
American Home Hospice will provide the highest
quality of care to both the patient’s and their families as
they experience life limiting illness. The care we provide
is a gift to our patients and to ourselves.
The gifts of
Caring, Love and Peace

Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude from the
bottom of our hearts to American Home Hospice and American Home
Care. Each special thought, phone call, prayer or hug had a
special meaning. Our mother loved all her caregivers and was always
given excellent care. I personally could not have made it through
this journey without everyone's love, encouragement and support.
Thank you ~ Judy M
Gentry, Laura, Priscilla, Dennis and Jenny Thank you so much
for the card but also for all the roles you have had to help us
during this time: for taking care of Grandpa, keeping us informed
about his needs & what to expect next & especially the end details.
We are very thankful that you were there for us for every stage.
Words cannot express our gratitude enough for your service,
compassion & friendship. Thank you so much! ~ Family of
Jasper H
Thank you for the comfort you provided during a very difficult
time. ~ The family of Billy M
Thank you so much for all the loving care you gave to Bruce and
our family during the time proceding his death and the night of his
death. The nurses were always so caring and attentive and willing
to come whenever we called. The aides were aslo very gentle, caring
and attentive... willing to spend time chatting as well as doing
their work. Bruce loved you all... as we all did. Your service to
us during this time will never be forgotten. It was so meaningful to
us. Love in Christ, ~ June C family
